Fremont is connected to three airports namely Oakland Airport, San Jose Airport and San Francisco Airport.
Oakland (OAK) is located 20 to 40 minutes through car. You have an option of taking new tram from The Airport to Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) runs directly to Fremont. Airport of San Jose is 30 minutes away and can be accessed by interstate highways
San Francisco- This is around 1 hour away away from the city’s centre. This is undoubtedly the biggest and most populated of airports across the entire range. BART station trains in SFO can make you reach Fremont in just under 45 minutes.

If you are coming from Berkeley or Oakland, take Interstate 8 southwards. If you are coming from San Fran and Palo Alto take routes 101, 92 or state highway 84 (with the preference of the Dumbarton bridge to cut the distance). If you are from San Jose, the 1-880 or I-680 N can be taken. The street system of Fremont is defined by hills on the eastern city side. Mission Boulevard runs along the bay side and streets are at right angles, as there is movement from Mission Boulevard to the bay. Streets also run parallel to hills and the local names for them are north south streets. The perpendicular streets are the northeast-southwest.

Major freeways through Fremont are bayside Nimitz and inland I-680. Motorists will find the I-880 congested.
